If you really like the Vista input field designs, then why change this look if it fits in your design? Here's CSS to make input fiels in Firefox look the same as in IE on a Vista machine.

I created a web version of the calender using the MooTools javascript framework, Ajax, XHTML, CSS and PHP. Key features: animations in transition, authentic Vista-look and quick navigation by jumping back and forth between months, years and decades without drop-down boxes.
